This is going to continue until Oakland steps up and realizes the homeless are out of control. All stores need to be fined for stolen shopping carts and not having some sort of lock system on their carts.

Owners of these shopping carts need to be fined and all carts need a lock system on them. Why are the homeless allowed to even have them, it's stolen property.

We worked with the Mayor's office and Dan Kalb and OPD to get the encampment removed SUNday night. My understanding is that they did not return last night.OPD has promised increased surveillance in the evenings, when it is illegal to be in the park at al.
