This stretch of Chabot has been crumbling badly for years, and the many temporary patches in place have done little to make this popular cycling route any safer. We're talking about young children biking to school, plus commuters and recreational cyvlists. The road is so bad it's also very hazardous for motorists. I hope it won't take a major injury accident and another costly lawsuit to convince the city to repave Chabot Road.
