Description
Homeless encampments not only growing but today there were chickens roaming around, dogs roaming around off leash and fires being burned. How can these encampments be removed? Could the approved funds to 'beautify' the areas around the lake with bike lanes, etc be diverted to address these other more serious public health issues?

It may be time to stop using the term "homeless". Some of these people are definitely not homeless. I've overheard conversations where they refer to their homes as being "watched by police" and talk about how they can't park their cars in front of their homes because they would get repossessed. Some of these people are just hiding out in the park encampments. We (and City authorities) have been scammed. There may be actual homeless people deserving of aid and sympathy - but the City should start to do some real investigating of who's real and who's not.
